Various medicine was being used, but a boric acid is effective in wood flame resisting-ization.<br>soufa we produce (grass fa) is being supplied to a market as the flame retarder with the high effect in cellulose.</p>



<p>It was found to have the flame resisting effect on a boric acid from ancient times. So it&#8217;s I soak and to make a boric acid crowded in a wood, and it&#8217;s possible flame resisting to-ize a wood.<br>But its effect is little. The reason soaks into a wood and that makes a boric acid crowded can say because it&#8217;s difficult. Because a boric acid has the aptitude for which it&#8217;s difficult to melt in water originally, and melts only about 4 % at most. <p>It&#8217;s said that the incombustible wood circulated at present originally has several faults.<br>That&#8217;s efflorescence and youdatsu. The wood surface be efflorescence in white.<br>And youdatsu is that medicine comes out and is sticky on the wood surface. An incombustible wood generally did the surface covering by painting, but even that didn&#8217;t lead to a fundamental solution.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s the boric acid said to be the cause of the efflorescence mainly, but the efflorescence phenomenon isn&#8217;t confirmed by the wood which made SOUFA permeate. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m thinking soufa poly boric acid sodium is effective as a flame retarder for cellulose.<br>There seem to be a lot of things for which a flame retarder of a phosphoric acid course is used in paper and a wood, Hari yellows, and passes away, the problem that I cared and said was being pointed out.<br>So it can be said that the boron system flame retarder poly boric acid sodium thrown into an incombustible material market newly has high incombustible giving effect to the cellulose.</p>

<p>Newspaper is paper, so it should be original and burns.<br>But when soufa is applied and dried, incombustibility can be given easily.<br>soufa is refined only by poly boric acid sodium and water, and a boric acid is a main flame retarder.<br>I knew that a boric acid is effective as a flame retarder from the past, the nature for which it&#8217;s difficult to melt in water was being enough and wasn&#8217;t being drafted.</p>



<p>So I succeeded in our making a high concentration aqueous solution with making a boric acid combine specially by an original process. Building becomes easy to the material this can apply now to the various material, and which is the paper system in particular.</p>

Grass fa is a high concentration poly boric acid sodium aqueous solution by the flame retarder which made the boric acid a principal raw material.<br>I succeeded to draw the solubility to the water up by special technology. It&#8217;s difficult for a boric acid to melt in water originally, so the density doesn&#8217;t rise so much.<br>It was dissolved in water with high concentration and crowded technology was needed but to make them do impregnation to a wood fiber and a woody fiber. It&#8217;s soufa that that was achieved.<br>Toxicity also is low and is the aqueous solution with the very high flame resisting effect to the cellulose.</p>

<p>The cloth and the plastics which seem ardent well are used.<br>For example dolls are worn clothes. Are these given to any prevention flame measures? I was thinking.<br>I don&#8217;t have knowledge of what kind of prevention flame regulation is applied to attraction facilities, it&#8217;s closed space, so I think some&#8217;s measure may be desired.<br>I&#8217;m thinking our soufa can&#8217;t use it in such case.</p>

<p>CNF Moisture content 94.58.</p>

<p>The application type flame retarder was made by generating CNF2wt% aqueous solution 50g and mixing about 13 grams of bestboron.<br>It&#8217;s white, but when it&#8217;ll be completed, the color will be a clear application film. I have the viscosity enough for application operation.</p>

<p>But, surface modification was performed in plasma processing because wettability of a PP board was low.</p>



<p>Dryness for 24 hours is performed in a dry oven after application. The temperature was set as 75 ℃.</p>

<p>Incombustible evaluation used a combustion test way 45 ℃. It&#8217;s a combustion test way in accordance with JIS L1091, and a flame is hit and a presence of the back temperature and penetration is estimated for 5 minutes.<br>A testing machine used the following.</p>

<p>A fire layer was formed at the same time as a flame was cross with the surface of the PP board, and 2 layers of the char layer generated after it were that a flame was blocked off, and it was possible to endure a combustion test for 5 minutes.</p>

<p>Starch is being used instead of CNF by the test put into effect at the same time. This also had the similar effect, but there was difference in the appearance.</p>

<p>Test outcome<br>It was possible not to pierce a flame and to endure a combustion test for 5 minutes.
